Safety
Safety Policies
Multipipe, like all other companies, aims to please our clients and deliver the best service possible. We put safety above all else because we understand the risk involed in this industry. Information on our safety policies and precautionary measures are provided below.
Employee Training
Every member of our team has attended the necessary training courses for industrial safety as specified by the Labour Department in Hong Kong. For instance, all of our employees have obtained the Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate, the so called "Green Cards".
Moreover, our team members have to equip themselves with other qualifications for certain jobs. Some of our team members had completed Railway Safety Inductions and Fire Marshal training for our project with the aid of Hong Kong Mass Transit Railway (MTR) in 2013.
Cross-department collaboration
Due to the nature of services we provide, it is sometimes crucial to liaise and collaborate with different governmental departments in many large-scale projects.
Before the commencment of our MTR project in 2013, our staff and consultants had to liaise with the Transport Department and the Police on the matter of Temporary Traffic Arrangement. On some occasions, we also have to seek advice from the Environmental Protection Department in order to obtain our Construction Noise Permits.

Project Hazard Log
Risk assessment is routinely carried out before each project as there are sometimes potential hazards posed by any unpredictable events. Therefore, our team also completes a project hazard log during the duration of projects. This allows us to better protect our employees and relevant personnel in the future.
